Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 8 Kg
  • Coconut Big - 14
  • Urad Dal - 0.5 Kg
  • Shengana - 2 Kg
  • Kaju - 750 gms
  • Rai - 100 gms
  • Hing - 100 gms
  • Madras Mirchi - 100 gms
  • Ghee - 1 Kg
  • Kadipatta - lots
  • Chutney chana - 1 Kg
  • Green chillies - 300 gms
  • Garlic - 200 gms

Preparation

  • Heat oil + ghee, add rai and wait till it splutters
  • Add urad dal and saute
  • Add hing, kadipatta, madras mirchi and saute
  • Add shengana, kaju and saute
  • Add grated coconute and saute
  • Add rice and mix
  • For chutney, grind chutney chana, green chillies and garlic with water to paste.
