Ingredients

  • Soya chunks - 4 Kg
  • Potato - 4 Kg
  • Onion - 6 Kg
  • Tomato - 8 Kg
  • Mutter - 3 Kg
  • Garlic - 250 gms
  • Green chillies - 200 gms
  • Curd - 6 Kg
  • Dhaniya Powder - 200 gms
  • Aamchur powder - 100 gms
  • Jeera - 200 gms
  • Chilli powder - 100 gms
  • Haldi - 50 gms
  • Hing - 50 gms
  • Kasuri Methi - 100 gms

Preparation

  • Boil water, add salt and cook soya chunks and potatoes
  • After chunks are cooked, remove and squeeze out water
  • Mix curd, dhaniya powder, chilli powder, haldi and the cooked chunks and keep aside for marination
  • Heat oil, add jeera and saute
  • Add hing, garlic, green chillies and saute
  • Add onions and saute till brown
  • Add tomato puree and cook
  • Add salt, dhaniya powder, aamchur powder, chilli powder and cook
  • Add soya chunks and cook
  • Add water as needed and cook
  • Add cooked potato, mutter and cook
  • Bring to boil
