Ingredients

  • Lauki - 13 Kg
  • Besan - 1 Kg
  • Tomato - 8 Kg
  • Onion - 5 Kg
  • Ginger - 250 gms
  • Garlic - 250 gms
  • Green chillies - 250 gms
  • Ajwain - 200 gms
  • Dhaniya Powder - 200 gms
  • Jeera - 100 gms
  • Kothmbir - 2 big
  • Hing - 100 gms
  • Garam Masala - 50 gms
  • Kasuri Methi - 50 gms

Preparation

  • Grate lauki, squeeze water and keep the water aside
  • Add ginger and green chiliies
  • Add haldi, little ajwain, little garam masala and mix
  • Add salt, besan and mix
  • Do not squeeze much, roll and make balls
  • Fry on low flame
  • In another vessel, heat oil
  • Add jeera, ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute
  • Add onion and saute
  • Add besan and keep mixing
  • Add lauki water and mix
  • Add haldi, dhaniya powder, chilli powder and mix
  • Add tomatoes, salt and cook
  • Add kasuri methi and mix
  • Add aamchur powder, dhaniya and mix
