Ingredients
- Rice - 10 Kg
- Green Moong - 6 Kg
- Potato - 4 Kg
- Onion - 4 Kg
- Tomato - 3 Kg
- Jeera - 150 gms
- Dhaniya jeera powder - 200 gms
- Green peas - 2 Kg
- Kaju - 500 gms
- Chilli Powder - 100 gms
- Chillies - 200 gms
- Ginger - 250 gms
- Ghee - 1 Kg
- Rai - 200 gms
Preparation
- Soak green moong in water overnight
- Soak rice in water for 1 hour
- Boil water, add salt, little oil, add rice and cook
- Boil green peas
- Heat ghee, add jeera and saute
- Add green peas and rice and mix
- In a vessel, add water, green moong, potatoes, haldi and cook
- In a vessel, heat ghee + oil
- Add rai and wait till splutter
- Add ginger, green chillies and saute
- Add onion and saute
- Add haldi, tomatoes, chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder and cook
- Add above to green moong and mix
- Add little sugar, kasuri methi and mix
