Ingredients

  • Daliya - 6 Kg
  • Moong Dal - 3 Kg
  • Carrot - 3 Kg
  • Potato - 4 Kg
  • Tomato - 2.5 Kg
  • Adrak - 400 gm
  • Green chillies - 500 gm
  • Dhaniya powder - 200 gm
  • Chilly powder - 200 gm
  • Haldi - 50 gm
  • Ghee - 1 Kg
  • Rai - 200 gm
  • Jeera - 200 gm
  • Jaggery - 100 gm

Preparation

  • Soak daliya + moong dal in water and wash 
  • Heat oil, add rai and wait till splutter
  • Add jeera, dalchini, black pepper, ginger, green chillies and saute
  • Add potato, carrot and saute
  • Add moong dal and saute
  • Add daliya and saute
  • Add 2.5 times water
  • Add chilli powder, salt, jaggery and mix
  • Cook 
  • Heat oil + ghee 
  • Add rai and wait for splutter
  • Add tomato, little chilly powder, salt and saute
  • Add to khichdi and mix
