Ingredients
- Daliya - 6 Kg
- Moong Dal - 3 Kg
- Carrot - 3 Kg
- Potato - 4 Kg
- Tomato - 2.5 Kg
- Adrak - 400 gm
- Green chillies - 500 gm
- Dhaniya powder - 200 gm
- Chilly powder - 200 gm
- Haldi - 50 gm
- Ghee - 1 Kg
- Rai - 200 gm
- Jeera - 200 gm
- Jaggery - 100 gm
Preparation
- Soak daliya + moong dal in water and wash
- Heat oil, add rai and wait till splutter
- Add jeera, dalchini, black pepper, ginger, green chillies and saute
- Add potato, carrot and saute
- Add moong dal and saute
- Add daliya and saute
- Add 2.5 times water
- Add chilli powder, salt, jaggery and mix
- Cook
- Heat oil + ghee
- Add rai and wait for splutter
- Add tomato, little chilly powder, salt and saute
- Add to khichdi and mix
