Ingredients
- Green Moong chilka dal - 5 Kg
- Moong dal - 1.5 Kg
- Carrot - 2 Kg
- Onions - 3 Kg
- Potato - 3 Kg
- Green chillies - 250 gms
- Ginger - 250 gms
- Kothmir - 2 Big
- Hing - 100 gms
- Saunf - 100 gms
- Khada Dhaniya - 100 gms
- Red Chillies - 100 gms
- Safed Til - 100 gms
- Jeera - 100 gms
- Aamchur powder - 200 gms
- Rice Flour - 1.5 Kg
Preparation
- Heat khada dhaniya, red chillies, jeera and safed til and saute till they are roasted
- Let them cool, and then grind to powder
- Soak green moong and moong dal in water for 2 hours
- Remove water and grind to thick paste
- Grate carrot, potato and mix in above paste
- Add onions and mix
- Add ginger, green chillies, hing, salt, aamchur powder, above powder and mix
- Add rice flour and mix
- Make small balls and fry in medium flame
