Ingredients
- Matki - 6 Kg (After sprouting 10 Kg)
- Potato - 3 Kg
- Onion - 5 Kg (4 Kg small pieces + 1 Kg heated on fire)
- Tomato - 2 Kg
- Kopra - 4 medium half vati
- Goda Masala - 400 gms
- Kanda Lasoon powder - 200 gms
- Ginger garlic paste - 200 gms
- Jeera - 100 gms
- Corriander Powder - 200 gms
- Chilli Powder - 250 gms
- Jaggery - 0.5 Kg
- Rai - 100 gms
- Pav - 200
- Farsan - 4 Kg
- Salt, Oil, turmeric
Preparation
- Boil water in a vessel, add turmeric, salt and cook matki
- Boil potatoes separately and remove skin
- Burn kopra and onions on fire till they are charred. Let them cool and then grind in mixer
- In another vessel, heat oil, add rai and wait till it splutters
- Add jeera, onions and saute
- Add ginger garlic paste, above kopra onion paste and saute
- Add tomatoes and saute
- Add turmeric, goda masala, chilli powder and corriander powder and mix
- Add water and cook
- Add matki and jaggery and mix
- Add lemon juice and mix
- Serve with matki, onion and farsan
