Ingredients
- Kairi - 8 Kg ( around 60 )
- Coconut - 10
- Rai - 100 gms
- Shengana - 2 Kg
- Mirchi - 400 gms
- Kothmbir - 2 Big
- Kadipatta - 10
- Urad Dal - 0.5 Kg
- Rice - 7 Kg
- Sugar - 200 gms
- Hing - 50 gms
Preparation
- Grind coconut, mirchi, kothmbir and kadipatta along with little water into fine paste
- Grate kairi
- Heat oil, add rai and wait till it splutters
- Add urad dal and saute till reddish brown
- Add shengana and saute till reddish brown
- Add grated kairi and saute
- Add above paste and mix
- Add haldi, little chilli powder, salt, sugar and mix
- Saute till oil gets released
- Mix rice
