Ingredients

  • Methi - 16
  • Onion - 5 Kg
  • Tomato - 5 Kg
  • Shengana - 2 Kg
  • Safed Til - 500 gms
  • Besan - 1 Kg
  • Mirchi Powder - 200 gms
  • Haldi - 100 gms
  • Lasoon - 3 Kg
  • Jeera - 100 gms
  • Sarson ka Tel - 4 Lt
  • Chillies - 200 gms

Preparation

  • Heat oil
  • Add jeera and saute
  • Add lasoon and saute
  • Saute till lasoon becomes brown in color and then remove and keep aside
  • In another vessel, saute shengana
  • Saute safed til and besan
  • After cooling, grind shengana, til and besan along with water into fine paste
  • Heat oil
  • Add onion, chillies and saute
  • Add haldi and mix
  • Add tomato and saute
  • Add chilli powder
  • Add above paste and mix
  • Add water if paste is very thick and keep stirring
  • Add salt, sugar and mix
  • In another vessel, heat oil, add methi and saute
  • Add methi to the above paste and mix
  • Heat on low flame till it boils
