Ingredients

  • Onion - 3 Kg
  • Tomatoes - 3 Kg
  • Carrot - 3 Kg
  • Mutter - 3 Kg
  • Brocoli - 3 Kg
  • Moong Dal - 1.5 Kg
  • Bajra - 3 Kg
  • Jowar - 1.5 Kg
  • Rice - 2 Kg
  • Jeera - 200 gms
  • Ghee - 0.5 Kg
  • Jeera Powder - 100 gms
  • Dhaniya powder - 100 gms
  • Garam Masala - 150 gms
  • Ginger - 250 gms
  • Green Chilly - 200 gms
  • Kothmbir - 1 Big
  • Hing - 50 gms
  • Bedgi Mirchi - 100 gms
  • Rai - 200 gms

Preparation

  • Soak jowar, bajra for 12 hours, rice and moong dal for 1 hour in water
  • Cook jowar, bajra adding 3x water and salt
  • After cooking for 1.5 hours add moong dal and rice
  • Add carrot and cook
  • Add brocoli, mutter and cook
  • In another vessel, heat ghee and oil
  • Add rai, jeera, tejpatta, bedgi mirchi, hing and saute
  • Add ginger, chilli paster and saute
  • Add onions and saute
  • Add haldi powder, tomatoes, jeera powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala and cook
  •  Add to khichdi and mix
