Ingredients
- Rice - 8 Kg
- Potato - 6 Kg
- Carrot - 5 Kg
- Green Peas - 3 Kg
- Soya - 1 Kg
- Tomato - 3 Kg
- Onion - 4 Kg
- Dahi - 3 Kg
- Dhaniya Powder - 200 gms
- Ginger - 200 gms
- Garlic - 250 gms
- Green chillies - 200 gms
- Biryani Masala - 200 gms
- Haldi - 50 gms
- Sarson ka Tel - 1 Lt
- Kothmbir - 1 Big
Preparation
- Soak rice in water for 1 hour
- Boil soya in water adding salt and then remove and squeeze out water
- Heat oil, add jeera and saute
- Add garlic, ginger and chilli paste and saute
- Add dalchini, badi elaichi, tejpatta and saute
- Add onion and saute till light brown
- Add tomato and cook
- Add salt, haldi, biryani masala, dhaniya powder and cook
- Add dahi and cook till oil separates
- Add long cut pieces of potato, carrot and cook
- Add soya and cook
- Add rice along with 1.5 times quantity water
- Add green peas and cook
- Add kothmbir and mix
- Let it cool down for 1 hour and then serve
