Ingredients
- Rice - 8Kg
- Tur Dal - 4 Kg
- Onion - 4 Kg
- Tomato - 3 Kg
- Jeera - 100 gms
- Chilli Powder - 100 gms
- Chillies - 200 gms
- Ginger - 250 gms
- Kothmbir - 1 Big
- Ghee - 1 Kg
- Rai, haldi, hing
Preparation
- Wash rice and soak in water for 30 mins
- Take water in vessel, add salt and let it boil
- Add rice and cook
- Soak dal in vessel for a couple of hours
- Wash dal and put in vessel with double quantity water
- Add haldi and cook
- In another vessel, heat oil, add rai and wait till splutter
- Add jeera, hing and saute
- Add onions and saute
- Add tomato and saute
- Add haldi, chilli powder, ghee, salt and saute
- Add to dal and mix
