Ingredients
- White Vatana - 5 Kg
- Black chana - 3 Kg
- Potato - 6 Kg
- Onion - 3 Kg
- Tamrind - 600 gms
- Jaggery - 1 Kg
- Amchur - 100 gms
- Green chilles - 350 gms
- Kothmbir - 2 big
- Pudina - 4
- Chutney Chana - 500 gms
- Chilli Powder - 50 gms
- Thin sev - 1 kg
Preparation
- Soak white vatana and black chana overnight
- Add Salt, Vatana, Chana to water and cook.
- Once cooked, add boiled potatoes, chilli powder, jeera powder, aamchur powder and mix
- In another vessel, soak tamrind in hot water for 30 mins
- Squeeze tamrind and filter
- Mix jaggery and little chilli powder to make tamrind sauce
- Grind chutney chana, ginger in mixer
- Add chillies, kothmbir, pudina, salt, little sugar and water and grind to make chutney
- To serve, add ragada, green chutney, little tamrind chutney, nylon sev and some kothmbir
