Ingredients

  • Potato - 7 Kg
  • Pumpkin - 3 Kg
  • Tomato - 3 Kg
  • Green Peas - 2 Kg
  • Soya - 1 Kg
  • Chole - 1 Kg
  • Green Moong - 2 Kg
  • Jeera - 200 gms
  • Dhaniya - 200 gms
  • Badishep - 100 gms
  • Ginger - 200 gms
  • Chillies - 200 gms
  • Kothmbir - 1 big
  • Rai - 100 gms
  • Aamchur powder - 100 gms
  • Kasuri Methi - 100 gms
  • Basmati Rice - 8 Kg

Preparation

  • Soak chole and green moong overnight
  • Soak soya in water for a couple of hours and the squeeze out water
  • Soak rice in water for an hour
  • Add salt, tejpatta, jeera, oil and cook rice
  • Cook potatoes, pumpkin, chole and green moong in water, add salt
  • In another vessel, heat oil, add ginger, chillies, rai and saute
  • Add tomatoes and saute
  • Grind badishep, dhaniya to powder
  • Add haldi powder, badishep, dhaniya powder and mix
  • Add chilli powder and mix
  • Add soya and saute
  • Add green peas and saute
  • Add cooked potatoes, pumpkin, chole and green moong, salt and bring to boil
  • Add kasuri methi, aamchur powder and mix
  • Add kothmbir and mix
