Ingredients

  • Green Moong chilka dal - 5 Kg
  • Moong dal - 1.5 Kg
  • Carrot - 2 Kg
  • Onions - 3 Kg
  • Potato - 3 Kg
  • Green chillies - 250 gms
  • Ginger - 250 gms
  • Kothmir - 2 Big
  • Hing - 100 gms
  • Saunf - 100 gms
  • Khada Dhaniya - 100 gms
  • Red Chillies - 100 gms
  • Safed Til - 100 gms
  • Jeera - 100 gms
  • Aamchur powder - 200 gms
  • Rice Flour - 1.5 Kg

Preparation

  • Heat khada dhaniya, red chillies, jeera and safed til and saute till they are roasted
  • Let them cool, and then grind to powder
  • Soak green moong and moong dal in water for 2 hours
  • Remove water and grind to thick paste
  • Grate carrot, potato and mix in above paste
  • Add onions and mix
  • Add ginger, green chillies, hing, salt, aamchur powder, above powder and mix
  • Add rice flour and mix
  • Make small balls and fry in medium flame
