Ingredients

  • Kairi - 8 Kg ( around 60 )
  • Coconut - 10
  • Rai - 100 gms
  • Shengana - 2 Kg
  • Mirchi - 400 gms
  • Kothmbir - 2 Big
  • Kadipatta - 10
  • Urad Dal - 0.5 Kg
  • Rice - 7 Kg
  • Sugar - 200 gms
  • Hing - 50 gms

Preparation

  • Grind coconut, mirchi, kothmbir and kadipatta along with little water into fine paste
  • Grate kairi
  • Heat oil, add rai and wait till it splutters
  • Add urad dal and saute till reddish brown
  • Add shengana and saute till reddish brown
  • Add grated kairi and saute
  • Add above paste and mix
  • Add haldi, little chilli powder, salt, sugar and mix 
  • Saute till oil gets released
  • Mix rice
