Ingredients

  • Tamrind - 1 Kg
  • Jaggery - 2 Kg
  • Milk - 15 Lt ( 11 (thandai) + 4 (dahi vada) )
  • Curd - 4.5 Kg
  • Bread - 10 packets
  • Sehzuan Chutney
  • Shengana - 0.5 Kg
  • Chutney chana - 750 gms
  • Chillies - 100 gms
  • Kothmbir - 3 Big
  • Ginger - 200 gms

Preparation

  • Soak tamrind in warm water for 10-20 mins
  • Grind the tamrind and water mixture and filter out the pulp
  • Mix tamrind extract with jaggery and grind to slightly thick paste
  • In another vessel, mix curd and sechzuan chutney
  • Grind shengana, chutney chana, chillies, kothmbir, ginger, little tamrind, sugar, salt with little water to make green chutney
  • Dip bread in milk and squeeze it to make a ball
  • On this ball put tamrind paste, curd and chutney
