Ingredients

  • Rajma - 8 Kg
  • Basmati Rice - 8 Kg
  • Potato - 5 Kg
  • Onion - 5 Kg
  • Tomato - 6 Kg
  • Chilli Powder - 200 gms
  • Dhaniya Powder - 50 gms
  • Jeera Powder - 100 gms
  • Rajma Masala - 100 gms
  • Kasuri Methi - 100 gms
  • Turmeric, Salt

Preparation

  • Soak Rajma in water for 12 hours
  • In a vessel, heat water and add Rajma, Potato, salt
  • During cooking, remove froth that keeps collecting on top
  • In another vessel, put oil and finely chopped onions. Saute
  • Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric and chilli powder.
  • Add tomato puree and mix
  • Add Rajma masala, Jeera powder and dhaniya powder.
  • Add Rajma + Potato (mash as many potatoes to thicken gravy) and bring to boil
  • Add kasuri methi and mix
